The KMIT is the shotgun capsule for the modular Colette series. It is derived directly from the CMIT series and inherits its acoustic properties, such as the high directivity combined with low coloration of sound arriving from the side and the directivity that increases very evenly with frequency. In use, the KMIT, CMIT 5, and MiniCMIT can be interchanged without resulting in changes to the sound.
