The dBooster is the industry’s cleanest in-line phantom powered signal booster for non-powered ribbon and dynamic microphones. It has two steps of gain; 12 dB or 20 dB switchable, bringing new life to low output mics for use on vocals, acoustic guitar, ukulele, etc. Great for long cable runs too.

The dBooster generates virtually zero distortion and self-noise, even in the highest gain setting. The dBooster’s gain levels remain consistent, regardless of the preamps used or the electrical load.
(We’ve measured all the in-line preamplifier products made today and found sometimes-substantial distortion levels in all of them, and they often lose output level when loaded. No such problems with the dBooster)
The dBooster gives amazing results with SM-7s on vocals. Set for 20 dB of gain for softer singers or dial back to 12 dB to keep your preamp or DAW from breaking up when a louder singer wants to eat the mic.
The dBooster pairs beautifully with our R-10, R-121 and SF-12 ribbon microphones. Royer phantom-powered ribbon mics are preferable when the budget allows, but the dBooster is the best way to increase gain with nonpowered Royer ribbons.
