Warm Audio WA76 Units Continue to Fly!

If you haven't taken a look at the Warm Audio WA76 1176 compressor, you really should.

Priced the same as a DIY kit, this $599 (stock) unit delivers essentially what you expect from any 1176. Overall I would say you can stick it in a rack full of vintage and new units and it would vary as much as any of them would from each other. It's got all the smack and attitude you could want, but also a nice wide bandwidth delivers open highs and clear, full bass. You can smash the crap out of a drum or pin a vocal to the surface with very little effort as it just absolutely stops stuff!

This link scheme is exactly the same as original Urei and UA reissue units hook up, and it enables both FET units to reference each other for more even left / right compression of a stereo source.
