These new units incorporate some modern design features, like wet/dry mix blend as well as hi-pass sidechain filters (preventing dominant frequencies from pumping the material). A compressor OFF setting is now available on the attack knob to use just the amplifier section, as well as a true hard bypass. 

The mono units can be stereo linked right out of the box now, but check out the dual mono stereo linkable A2 and D2 units! CineMag transformers are used in and out, they were the original supplier for these designs.
