The latest release from Audient is the EVO series DAW interface, and it covers everything from analog to digital conversion (and DA) at up to 96k, ADAT I/O expandability, 8 preamps which handle instrument and line level as well, and a monitor output section that allows for selectable DIM, MUTE and ALT speaker switching in USB form. This all in one is also stackable, from the EVO 16 fully outfitted model to the EVO 8 which would allow you to keep adding preamps and added I/O for high track count rigs. The affordable pricing is almost confusing at this level of performance, as it sounds as good as just about anything we've tested.
